Avraham started EMA Group then called Ashwood Associaties in 1982 while he was still a detective with the Philadelphia Police Department. With two partners they opened their first office in Feasterville PA. The firm started offby assisting people who were new homeowners insure their property, life and income.
In 1987 he retired from the police force to put all of his efforts into being a successful financial professional so the company was split off from the other partners and stood on it's own for the first time, strictly to provide finanical and benefit advice to small business owners. He moved into his new location at 1200 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville.
In 1995 Edward T. MacConnell joined the firm. In 2007, after 20 years in the insurance business, Avraham moved to Memphis, Tennessee and still works from his home office there remotely and visits clients here in PA three or four times a year.
