Optimized Benefits is not insurance, but rather a discount program featuring savings and benefits in the categories of pharmacy, vision, fitness, dental and limited health.
Access to the program is provided at no cost to the group and employees of groups with 50 or more employee. The employee can access the pharmacy, vision, and fitness programs for free and have an option to purchase the voluntary dental discount card and/or the limited health plan.
All employees are eligible, however, the program is designed to provide the most value to those employees who elect not to purchase insurance or are not eligible for insurance. Spouses, children, parents, and retired family members are also eligible.
What Can Members Save?
Pharmacy: savings of up to 40% on generic drugs and 20% on brand name drugs.
Vision: eye examination for as low as $45 and eyewear for as little as $98.
Fitness: up to 50% membership dues at over 1,500 clubs with no annual contracts.
Dental: on average, near 50% savings with fixed scheduled procedure rates.
Limited Health: indemnity based benefits as a lower cost alternative to major medical.
